The restyled C2 Audi 100 was launched in 1976, with an in-line four and five-cylinder engine. It was initially a 100 PS (74 kW) and 115 PS (85 kW) engine offering "six-cylinder power and four-cylinder economy", and later upgraded to 136 PS (100 kW).
The mainstay of the range remained the four-door sedan model. The 100 C2 effectively became a de facto successor to the similarly sized NSU Ro80 which ceased production in 1977, and the NSU name gradually disappeared from the public consciousness - eventually being erased from the company name completely in 1985 when Audi NSU Auto Union AG renamed itself Audi AG.
This example comes from the second owner after 30 years with the first owner. In an increadible well maintened original and unrestored condition with only 92.000 kilometres on the clock. The beautiful Copper metallic (code L95F) colour is also the original first paint. The interior is like new, the seats were always covered! And mechanically evrything works perfectly. There is absolutelly no corrosion level. The oil has been changed 1.000 kilometres ago.
Maybe the rims do not look that nice on the car, but they are also the original ones. The car offer plenty of room inside, decored in wood. This LS optioned example offers also the original radio.
This car comes also with the higher powered 115 PS engine running the front wheels and only 1,1 tones of weight. The manual gearbox is also the prefered option.
The car just flows over the motorway, it is very soft and comfortable, maybe one of the most comfortable sedans ever built.
